N.KUMAR (PRESIDENT)
MR.KUMAR, also known as Nav amongst close circles in his life has been a living inspiration to many. Brought up in uttarakhand, in early childhood he grew deep love with nature. While his working tenure in the field of management and training, he identified the deterioration of life and nature in Uttarakhand. He decided to go back and rework to retain the quality of life and environment in his native state. He called itCENTRE FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION( CST). Since then CST has been expanding and effectively working in the areas of education, employment, empowerment and environment. Presently, while keenly involved in meeting the goals of CST, Nav also shows much interest in revival of Himalayan music, restoration of art and promotion of healthy living.
DEEPIKA CHOWDHURY(VICE-PRESIDENT)
With an extensive experience of more than a decade in PR & Marketing while working with vodafone, DEEPIKA is driven deeply by her concerns for the upliftment of life in the mountain regions. While being currently a Teacher by profession, she effectively handles the job of President of CST. She is also a founding member of CST and has been a driving force behind the evolution of CST over the years. Other roles that she cherishes are being a mother of one and being a housewife. She takes keen interest in girl child education and environmental issues. Her hobbies include cooking, travelling, music and sports.
SHWETA
Shweta is working with CST as project coordinator. She is positive, creative, self-motivated individual with great enthusiasm and determination to succeed. She demonstrates problem solving and natural coordination skills combined with the ability to prioritise a substantial workload. She has done her graduation in commerce. Her interest lies in singing and dancing.
